                                  Dear Debbie,
Just a quick note of appreciation for the absolutely marvelous framing you and your colleagues have provided for Patricia and me. Truthfully, framing, for me has always seemed a necessary “accessory” to a work of art – just to “contain” the piece.
But through your uncanny ability to find just the right frame (I hesitate to use that word; it’s much more than that) tailored to every piece of art we have brought you, I now appreciate the distinctiveness and value a beautiful frame can (should) bring to the piece.
Without exception, the beauty and value each piece you have framed for us has been immeasurably enhanced – whether it be a $25 sketch from a Souk in North Africa, or a Museum quality oil painting, a silver encrusted ancient dagger, or a decorated piece of sharkskin.
Your choice of frame, matting, your knack for just the right colors and carving in the frame, your choice of dimensions and balance, and the care with which you brought all of this to each piece has, in all cases been exemplary.
With this short note of thanks, I commend you for striving (and succeeding) to “be the best you can be”.
Thanks for this great work, (and contributing to the furtherance of my art appreciation).

                Debbie and Crew,
The purpose of this letter is to formally acknowledge and thank you and the staff at Eastlake framing for their heartfelt and very generous support of PFC Thomas L. Tucker and his family. You and your staff rose above and beyond the call of duty to ensure PFC Tucker’s posthumous military awards were framed in such a manner that all those privileged to view the craftsmanship coming from your staff were simply overwhelmed by the emotional impact your work invokes.
The presentation of this work of art commemorating the courage and sacrifice of the PFC Tucker to his family at the graveside service in Madras was perhaps the most moving aspect of the entire event.
I can share from personal knowledge the Tucker family cherishes their son’s awards and decorations as you so lovingly displayed them for generations to come. They, the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office, and I cannot ever thank you and the staff at Eastlake Framing for caring so much.
This extraordinary outpouring of heartfelt support by Eastlake Framing and its fine staff ensured proper decorum was achieved and the quiet dignity of the memorial service in Redmond and the military funeral that followed in Madras was all it could be.
Please accept my professional appreciation and admiration for a job well done, and my personal gratitude for demonstrating once again why the Central Oregon Community is the special place it is for those of us living and working here.
                Sincerely,
                  Les Stiles
